பொருள்: தீயினால் சுட்ட புண் புறத்தே வடு இருந்தாலும் உள்ளே ஆறிவிடும்; ஆனால் நாவினால் தீய சொல் கூறிச் சுடும் வடு என்றும் ஆறாது.
