அறத்துப்பால் (Virtue) - அறன்வலியுறுத்தல் (The power of virtue)
செயற்பாலது ஓரும் அறனே: ஒருவற்கு உயற்பால தோரும் பழி.
பொருள்: ஒருவன் வாழ்நாளில் முயற்சி மேற்கொண்டு செய்யத் தக்கது அறமே, செய்யாமல் காத்துக் கொள்ளத் தக்கது பழியே.
