நலம்வேண்டின் நாணுடைமை வேண்டும் குலம்வேண்டின்

பொருள்: ஒருவனுக்கு நன்மை வேண்டுமானால் நாணம் உடையவனாக வேண்டும், குடியின் உயர்வு வேண்டுமானால் எல்லோரிடத்தும் பணிவு வேண்டும்.
