நன்றி மறப்பது நன்றன்று: நன்றல்லது
அன்றே மறப்பது நன்று.

பொருள்: ஒருவர் முன்செய்த நன்மையை மறப்பது அறம் அன்று; அவர் செய்த தீமையைச் செய்த அப்பொழுதே மறந்து விடுவது அறம் ஆகும்.

To forget good turns is not good
Good it is over wrong not to brood.

English Meaning: Never forget the good deeds done for you, but it is virtuous to immediately forget the wrongs done to you.
