இறுதி பயப்பினும் எஞ்சாது இறைவர்க்கு
உறுதி பயப்பதாம் தூது.

பொருள்: தனக்கு அழிவே தருவதாக இருந்தாலும் அதற்காக அஞ்சி விட்டுவிடாமல், தன் அரசனுக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகுமாறு செய்கின்றவனே தூதன்.

English Meaning: He is the ambassador who fearlessly seeks his sovereign's good though it should cost him his life (to deliver his message).
