உணர்வ துடையார்முன் சொல்லல் வளர்வதன்
பாத்தியுள் நீர்சொரிந் தற்று.

பொருள்: தாமே உணர்கின்ற தன்மை உடையவரின் முன் கற்றவர் பேசுதல், தானே வளரும் பயிருள்ள பாத்தியில் நீரைச் சொரிந்தாற் போன்றது.
