பண்புடையார்ப் பட்டுண்டு உலகம் அதுஇன்றேல்
மண்புக்கு மாய்வது மன்.

பொருள்: பண்பு உடையவரிடத்தில் பொருந்தியிருப்பதால் உலகம் உள்ளதாய் இயங்குகின்றது, அஃது இல்லையானால் மண்ணில் புகுந்து அழிந்து போகும்.

English Meaning: The (way of the) world subsists by contact with the good; if not, it would bury itself in the earth and perish.
