Each group will have multiple rounds until the winners are determined. The end time of the competition will depend on how the contests progress.
Kural Theni Contests will happen in the following meeting rooms

We request everyone to assemble in <Will be provided later> by 9:30 AM. All contests will be conducted simultaneously.

July 2nd
- No entry tickets required for the Final Competition on July 2nd. All participants are requested to be available on July 2nd morning at the Venue for Kural Theni Finals.
- Exact Room # and other details will be published in this page.
- Food arrangements for July 2nd will be published later by FeTNA.
July 3rd & 4th
- FeTNA entry ticket required for participating in the Prize Distribution on July 3rd.
- Tickets required for Participating in the FeTNA events on July 3rd & 4th.
- Please note that FeTNA entry tickets for July 3rd & 4th includes Lunch & Dinner for July 3rd & 4th.

Rounds
The Kural Theni Finals will consist of two rounds : a Recital Round and a Question & Answer Round. There could be more than one round in Q&A round. The number of Q&A rounds will be determined by the contest’s competitiveness.
Prizes
There will be 3 winners in each group. In the Arumbugal group, additional winners will be selected from among the five and six year olds. Beyond the top-three prizes, special prizes will be given for excellence in Tamil pronunciation and language fluency.
All participants will receive medals and certificates. Trophies will be presented to the winners on the grand FeTNA Convention stage, offering a unique and memorable experience.
Kural List for Finals
We will publish the 150 Kurals for finals which includes Kurals which were given in the previous rounds. Only these Kurals are for finals. Any Kurals outside the list will not be considered.
Kural should be recited in the order as given in the website which is based on the Kural Numbers. Participants may recite the selected Thirukkurals in any order they prefer. However, they must submit the corresponding Kural numbers in the exact order of recital on the Kural Theni website’s “Participant Status” page, the link to which will be provided during the regional rounds.

- 60 Seconds time limit to answer per question. Time limit will be strictly considered.

Participants may recite additional Kurals beyond the 70 Kurals but only from the total 150 list to break a tie. Meaning not required for Kurals beyond their group list.

- These 100 Kurals consist of the original set of 100 Kurals published at the start of this year’s competition, along with 10 new Kurals selected from the newly released set of 150 Kurals.
