நட்பிற்கு வீற்றிருக்கை யாதெனில் கொட்பின்றி
ஒல்லும்வாய் ஊன்றும் நிலை.

பொருள்: நட்புக்கு சிறந்த நிலை எது என்றால், எப்போதும் வேறுபடுதல் இல்லாமல், முடியும் போதெல்லாம் உதவி செய்து தாங்கும் நிலையாகும்.
